Nassau, The Bahamas. Under the theme “Assess. Align. Accelerate.” The Vivian Group Ltd. facilitated the annual Board Retreat for the Board of Directors of the Bahamas Bureau of Standards and Quality (BBSQ), in January 2025.
Prior to the day of the Retreat, The Vivian Group developed a self-assessment tool, allowing members to assess the work and performance of the Board in three core areas:
The Retreat provided a platform for discussion of the results of that assessment, which served as the backdrop for the Council’s setting of expectations for its 2025 agenda. The rest of the day focused then on establishing Board priorities for the year and setting the Board’s calendar for 2025.
Led by board Chair Mrs. Pauline Curry and BBSQ Executive Director Dr. Renae Ferguson-Bufford, all members of the Board – New Providence and Grand Bahama (via Zoom) – participated in the one-day Retreat.
