The Fiscal Responsibility Council (FRC), established initially under the Fiscal Responsibility Act, 2018, was reconstituted under the Public Financial Management Act, 2023 (PFMA). The FRC’s membership under the new legislation was appointed October 15, 2024.
Per the PFMA, the FRC engaged The Vivian Group Ltd. as a qualified expert, in support of the FRC’s assessment of The Bahamas Government’s FY 2024/25 Mid-Year Review, the 2025 Fiscal Strategy Report, and the FY 2025/26 annual budget.
