Consultation – Fiscal Responsibility

The Vivian Group Ltd was engaged by the Fiscal Responsibility Council (FRC) to provide technical advice and support to the FRC, in the Council’s critical assessment of various Bahamas Government publications.

Such publications include the Government’s:

• Fiscal Strategy Report
• Annual Budget
• Mid-year Review
• Pre-Election Economic and Fiscal Update
• Government Annual Accounts
• Reports on deviations from the fiscal responsibility requirements
• Fiscal Adjustment Plan of the Government in response to deviations

Established by the Fiscal Responsibility Act, 2018 (FRA), the FRC is an independent body, with responsibility for assessment of the Government’s compliance with general principles, fiscal responsibility principles and fiscal objectives, and to advise on fiscal and budgetary matters of the Government.

The Vivian Group Ltd. supported the FRC in the development of the following publications:
